Fabriano, a well known city throughout the world for the paper production industry and electric household appliances, is situated in the middle of a valley surrounded by wonderful mountains, Appennino Marchigiano, very close to Grotte di Frasassi, tourist destination of lot of people coming from all over the world.
In Fabriano we find lots of interesting places to visit; one typical is the "Paper Museum" which shows a hand-made paper production demonstration.
In june this town celebrates a traditional event called "Palio di San Giovanni Battista" set in medioeval time ambient, which lasts 8 days; a competition among all historical neighbourhoods of town represented by their own blacksmiths with: "drop hammer challenge" and a fantastic artistic "flower decoration", both on the 24th. Moreover, all days follow musical concert, art exhibition, different performances while tasting wine and typical local dishes.
